Excited!

I am so excited about my new blog! I can't say for sure what I'll be posting about, but it will be unlike any other! I thought I would just share what's going on right at the moment.

Marching band season for the middle school just got done a couple months ago. We only participated in one competition. I play the flute for concert band, piccolo for marching band, and keyboard for jazz band (I'm a total band geek!). For having such a small band (18 members) we did great! We got 2nd out of 4 bands! The judges comments said that for our size our sound and performance was outstanding! We diffidently did better than last year! Last year we got 4th out of 4 bands... =(

Now we're working on Christmas music for our winter concert. Our songs are White Christmas, Jingle Bell Around the World, and the Little Drummer Boy.
